The Los Angeles Business Journal (LABJ), in partnership with CalCPA, has recognized Windes Managing Partner Sean McFerson in its 2024 Top 100 Accountants list. One hundred of the region’s top accounting professionals are being honored for their achievements as outstanding stewards in finance and accounting.
Sean McFerson joined the firm in 2012 and has more than 25 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to being elected managing partner in 2024, Sean headed the firm’s International Tax practice. He specializes in domestic and international taxation issues, including domestic and international restructuring, mergers and acquisitions,
and US inbound and outbound tax planning.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and a Master of Science in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California (USC). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA).
Sean also serves on the Windes Board of Directors and the Global Executive Board of Allinial Global, as well as on the board of Catholic Charities of Los Angeles.
