For its annual Windes Gives Back Day, the firm partnered with Orange County United Way’s Youth Career Connections program to support mock interviews at Magnolia High School in Anaheim. This initiative helps prepare students for future career opportunities by giving them hands-on interview experience and exposure to real-world professional expectations.
Windes volunteers met with over 100 students in the school gym, conducting rounds of one-on-one mock interviews. During each session, volunteers asked a series of common interview questions and provided both verbal and written feedback on key areas such as communication, enthusiasm, and overall presentation. The experience allowed students to practice articulating their strengths, reflect on their performance, and gain confidence in a professional setting. The event concluded with a group debrief, where volunteers and students shared insights and takeaways from the experience.
Staying true to its core value of “Serve Our Communities,” Windes partners and professionals serve at various levels in more than 50 nonprofit organizations locally and nationally. The Orange County Business Journal has recognized the firm as a “Company that Cares,” and OneOC and Points of Light have recognized Windes as one of the “Civic 50 Orange County,” an awards program that showcases superior corporate citizenship.
