In November, Windes conducted its annual fall virtual food drive event benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County and WomenShelter of Long Beach.
Our goal was to raise $5,000 total, giving $2,500 to each charity. In addition, the firm also matched 100% of all monies donated for this important cause. All proceeds were used to feed and provide services to those in need. Windes and its employees contributed a total of $10,000, which supported over 400 families with meals this year.
“Our team has so much to be thankful for in our professional and personal lives and we realize that not everyone in the communities we serve is as fortunate,” says Managing Partner James Cordova. “Windes was founded on a philosophy of giving back more to the community than the benefits received, and our annual food drive is one of the many ways we are committed to the causes that enrich the lives of others.”
