Chief Human Resources Officer Eileen K. Harris, Esq. has been recognized by the Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ) as a 2022 Distinguished Human Resources Leader.
Eileen has been a strategic partner and ambassador for Windes for nearly 25 years. As a vital member of the leadership team, her initiatives provide employee empowerment, high performance, organizational growth, and lots of fun. Eileen partners with leaders in the firm to hire, motivate, and retain our fantastic talent with her creative ideas, bringing camaraderie, a sense of belonging, and a spirit of cheerfulness to the firm.
Our employees are family, and during the COVID pandemic, Eileen’s swift and thorough communications, handling of concerns, and providing guidance were exceptional. She recognized the need to address mental health and provided manager training emphasizing flexibility, wellness, and empathy. As many employees continue to work remotely, Eileen strives to improve morale through motivational webinars, trivia games, chocolates for Valentine’s Day, Employee Appreciation Days, and more.
Eileen’s positivity is contagious and shows in our low turnover, improved morale, and the connectedness that we all feel, despite the pandemic. Everything Eileen does helps make Windes one of the Best Places to Work in both Orange and Los Angeles Counties.
“It is fitting that Eileen has received this award in its inaugural year,” says Windes Managing Partner James A. Cordova. “There are few individuals more directly responsible for shaping and maintaining the culture at Windes. Her enthusiasm and positivity are contagious, and it shows in our low turnover, steadfast morale, and the connectedness that we feel every day. Congratulations, Eileen!”
We are thrilled that the OCBJ has recognized Eileen with this honor.
