Candidates were selected from nomination materials submitted to the LABJ and reviewed by the publication’s editorial department. The honorees were chosen based on their impact on the profession, accounting expertise and achievement, exemplary leadership, and contributions to the community.
Christy began her public accounting career in 2006 after graduating Cum Laude from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She joined Windes in 2011, earning her Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University while working full-time. In 2018, Christy was promoted to Partner in the firm’s Tax & Accounting Services Department and is currently the Partner-in-Charge of tax and accounting operations for the firm’s Long Beach headquarters. She is also the practice leader of the firm’s robust real estate group.
